Instructor Bios
Erickson, Darryl
Darryl Erickson is a computer careers instructor. He has taught networking, computer repair, database, and programming at DCTC for six years as a full-time instructor and six years as an adjunct.
Darryl has a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics. He also attended the U.S. Air Force Technical School for Radar Repair.
His industry experience includes:
- part-time computer repair for last 10 years
- system and database administration for seven years
- software engineer programming for 16 years
- radar repair for three years.
"Learn by doing" sums up his teaching philosophy.
Working with students and helping them succeed is the best part of his job as a DCTC instructor.
His interests include reading and walking.
