Federal Stafford Student Loan
After receiving an official award letter from DCTC, you may apply online for a Federal Stafford Student Loan at FastChoice: Stafford Loan Application using your Federal Student Aid PIN.
- Stafford LoanEntrance Counseling
You may complete the mandatory Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling at FASTFacts Entrance Counseling.
- Stafford Loan ExitCounseling
Students who received Federal Stafford Student Loans and are no longer attending college may complete the mandatory Stafford Loan Exit Counseling at FASTFacts Exit Counseling.
Applying for Additional Assistance
If you require more financial assistance than appears on your award letter, you may be eligible to apply for the following loans:
- Federal Parental Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) at FastChoice: PLUS Loan Application
- Minnesota SELF Loan
You must have a credit-worthy cosigner to receive a SELF Loan. - Private Student Loans at FastChoice: Private Student Loans
