Fee Due Dates & Payment Policy

Important Information
- Payment due date for Fall Semester 2009 is August 13, 2009.
- Payment due date for Spring Semester 2010 is December 11, 2009.
- Payment due date for Summer Session 2010 is May 17, 2010.
- Tuition and fees are must be paid in full by the above dates to hold registration unless you have made a "Safe Harbor" deposit or qualified for an approved deferment.
Approved Deferments
- For students without approved deferment—such as financial aid application or agency funding—a "Safe Harbor" deposit of at least $300, or 15 percent of your total tuition, is due on Aug. 13, 2009, to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
- Payment Plan
Sept. 18, 2009 | One third of remaining balance due
Oct. 18, 2009 | One half of remaining balance due
Nov. 19, 2009 | Final payment due
- A $30 payment plan fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by Sept. 30, 2009.
- A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by Nov. 19, 2009.
- You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full.
- For students without approved deferment—such as financial aid application or agency funding—a "Safe Harbor" deposit of at least $300, or 15 percent of your total tuition, is due on December 14, 2009, to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
- Payment Plan
February 12, 2010 | One third of remaining balance due
March 12, 2010 | One half of remaining balance due
April 16, 2010 | Final payment due
- A $30 payment plan fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by February 26, 2010.
- A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by April 16, 2010.
- You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full.
- For students without approved deferment—such as financial aid application or agency funding—a "Safe Harbor" deposit of at least $300, or 15 percent of your total tuition, is due on May 17, 2010, to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
- Payment Plan
June 25, 2010 | Final payment due
- A $30 payment plan fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by May 31, 2010.
- A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by June 25, 2010.
- You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full.
- Your valid FAFSA results must be on record with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date.
- To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must complete your financial aid record and apply for any student loans needed to pay your balance by the following dates:

- Approved third-party vendor authorization must be on file with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date. The college will bill the approving agency for authorized tuition and fees.
- To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay in full any balance not covered by the authorization by the following dates:

- Regarding scholarship funds of $300 or more paid to the student's DCTC account, you can avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee by paying any balance not covered by the scholarship by the following dates:

- International students coded with an F1 Visa must pay 100 percent of health insurance costs plus a $300 "Safe Harbor" by the following dates:

Or at the time of registration, whichever is later.
- International students must have a social security number on record with DCTC to be eligible for the payment plan deferment option.

- PSEO students must have completed PSEO documentation and have approved PSEO status on record with DCTC.
