Tuition & Fees
Drops, Refunds & Withdrawals
Drop Policy
Courses longer than three (3) weeks may be dropped without financial responsibility during the first five (5) class days of the semester. You will receive a full refund of money paid.
- Note: Application fee is nonrefundable.
After five days, the drop becomes a withdrawal. Nonattendance of a course does not constitute a drop. You are required to drop a course if you do not plan to attend classes.
Students receiving financial who make changes to their credit load should contact the Financial Aid Office to determine if the change will affect their aid status.
Withdrawal Policy
If a student chooses to withdraw from a single course, there is no reduction in tuition charges or refund.
If a student chooses to withdraw from all courses for the semester, charge reduction and/or refunds will be reduced incrementally as the semester progresses.
- You may withdraw from a course the second through 15th week of the semester by completing a Course Withdraw form.
- A grade of "W" for withdrawal will be recorded on your permanent transcript; it will not affect your GPA.
- If you are receiving financial aid and make changes to your credit load, you should contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to determine if the change will affect your aid status. When filling out a course withdrawal form, you must secure a signature from financial aid before submitting it to registration.
- If you are enrolled in courses that end before the posted withdraw date, you should withdraw before 80 percent of the course session has elapsed. You may not withdraw after a course has ended.
