Any service member (students, staff, or faculty) bring your military ID or DD 214
to the Student Life Center on Monday November 9 for a free t-shirt to wear on November 10.

  • 9:30 a.m. LTC Vicky Sheldon Kline, US Army Retired
    “A Career Army Nurse – The Viet Nam Era and Points Beyond”
    LTC Kline served from 1971 until her retirement in 1992.
  • 11:00 a.m. CPT Brandi Degier, Army National Guard
    “Women in Combat: Rewards and Challenges – One Woman’s Experience”
    CPT Degier is currently serving in the Army National Guard.
Student Life Center Events | 9 – 1p.m.
  • Try an MRE (Meal, Ready to Eat) currently the main individual operational ration for the U.S. military.
    MRE’s are self-contained meals that provide all the nutrition to sustain a solider-on-the-go.
  • Meet DCTC Veterans they are prepared to answer questions about their experiences.
  • Cake will be served!
