Fee Due Dates & Payment Policy

Payment due date for Summer Session 2008 is May 19, 2008.
Payment due date for Fall Semester 2008 is August 4, 2008.
Tuition and fees are must be paid in full by the above dates to hold registration unless you have not made a "Safe Harbor" deposit or qualified for an approved deferment.

For students without approved deferment—such as financial aid application or agency funding—a "Safe Harbor"deposit of at least $300, or 15 percent of your total tuition, is due on May 19, 2008, to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
Final payment in full is due June 27, 2008.
A $30 payment plan fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by:
May 31, 2008.
A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by:
June 27, 2008.
You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full.

A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by Nov. 20, 2008.
You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full.

Your valid FAFSA results must be on record with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date.
To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must complete your financial aid record and apply for any student loans needed to pay your balance by the following dates:

May 19, 2008

Fall Semester
Sept. 30, 2008

Approved third-party vendor authorizationmust be on file with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date. The college will bill the approving agency for authorized tuition and fees.
To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay in full any balance not covered by the authorization by the following dates:

May 31, 2008

Fall Semester
Sept. 30, 2008

International students coded with an F1 Visa must pay 100 percent of health insurance costs plus a $300 "Safe Harbor" by the following dates:

Fall Semester
Aug. 4, 2008

Or at the time of registration, whichever is later.
International students must have a social security number on record with DCTC to be eligible for the payment plan deferment option.
To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay any remaining balance by the following dates:

May 31, 2008

Fall Semester
Sept. 30, 2008

PSEO students must have completed PSEO documentation and have approved PSEO status on record with DCTC.
