Five Soccer Players Make ICCAC Region XI 1st Team All-Region

Both the women and men's 2009–2010 Blue Knights soccer teams at Dakota County Technical College just completed banner years, each setting program records for wins, the women going 16–6 with the men finishing 15–6–1. A total of 15 players from both teams were selected for ICCAC Region XI 2009 All-Region Soccer honors. Head Coach Cam Stoltz was named the ICCAC Region XI Women's Soccer Coach of the Year.

U of M Receives $8 Million DOE Grant for Wind Energy Research

A consortium led by the University of Minnesota will receive up to $8 million for wind energy research and education from the U.S. Department of Energy. The grant, which is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, is part of the DOE's Wind and Hydropower Technologies Program.

DCTC Hosts Dakota County Intelligent Community Initiative Project Launch Celebration

More than 70 of the top business, civic and educational leaders in Dakota County assembled in the Dakota Room at Dakota County Technical College Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, to attend the Project Launch Celebration of one of the most ambitious undertakings in the county's 160-year history.
